this day been allowed to assume the rank of
Commander on the Retired List.
With reference to the notice which appeared
in the London Gazette of the llth September,
1914, the promotion of the undermentioned
Officers to the rank of Engineer-Commander
in His Majesty's Fleet has been antedated to
