The Newsletter for the Clear Springs Place Homeowners’ Association /November 2014 Clear Springs Place HOA News November 17, 2014 There is no doubt winter has arrived. Definitely time to bring in the plants, unplug the hose and cover the facets so they don’t freeze. We will miss that warm weather and look forward to spring, when the days are so much longer. We thought we would do something a little extra special this holiday season and have a Holiday decoration event. Winner will receive a gift card to Marcus Café, and if you have not been there, I can tell you it is the best! Owned by one of our own neighbors, Dawn Hayes. Thanks to Dawn for donating the gift card for the event. Judging will be done between December 23rd and December 26th. Judges names will remain anonymous so they cannot be bribed (LOL, just kidding of course). Speaking of Dawn, what a fabulous person we have in our neighborhood. She won Outstanding Women of Today Professional Excellence Award from Altrusa International Richardson. I know you will all help me in congratulating her and telling her how proud we are she is one of our neighbors!!!! 1 UPCOMING EVENTS First Event in 2015 is our Annual HOA meeting on Thursday, Feb 5, 2015 at 7:00 PM in the clubhouse. Please come and share your thoughts and ideas for our neighborhood! Hot tub and pool are closed for the winter but you are always welcomed to go to the pool area and relax. The Newsletter for the Clear Springs Place Homeowners’ Association /November 2014 If you have any architectural work you want done please be sure to follow the guidelines from the last newsletter, send the completed Architectural form to Don and Seth, as well as Amanda at the following email addresses: [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected]. Here’s what and how to send your requests to the committee: Alteration/Change request form: This form is on our website at www.clearspringsplace.com. Fences need to be kept up in appearance and when replacing you need to fill out the Architectural Alteration/Change request form so the committee can confirm you are replacing within Covenant guidelines. Fences should be stained in a natural wood tone and boards/gates should not be hanging off or broken. Mail boxes should be a white/off white color with wooden post and a mailbox that is representative of the original mailboxes installed. I know that weed eater’s take a toll on the wood posts so will be helpful to put metal stripping around the bottom. Architectural Committee will work with neighbors on any variances. Any alterations outside your residence that can be seen from the street or by your neighbor need to be submitted on an alteration/change request form and approved by the Architectural committee before starting the project.
