About the IRP’s
!
One of the centrepieces of the Steiner Waldorf Curriculum is the Class 12
Independent Research Projects. These are one year projects undertaken by each
of the students on a topic of their choosing, and incorporate research, practical,
presentation and reflective aspects. The students have been working hard on their
IRPs since term 4 2013. This year will be SVSS’s fifth graduating class to present
their IRP project to the school community, and they promise to be equally as
inspiring and impressive as previous years.
!
Each student will present their project with a 30 min talk, followed by a 10 min Q&A
and ‘defence
