Advertisement for JRF Position in a DST Project Applications are invited for JRF position in the following DST funded research project available at the Department of Mathematics, LNMIIT Jaipur: Project No : SR/S4/MS:745/12 Project Title : Conforming leastsquares h − p/Spectral Element Methods for Three Dimensional Elliptic Problems on Nonsmooth Domains using Parallel Computers Position : JRF Salary : Rs 16,000 + 20% HRA (Total=19,200 per month) Duration of Appointment: Two Years & Extendable to one more year as SRF (Rs 18,000 + 20% HRA per month). Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should have a B. Tech./M. Sc. degree in applied mathematics, computer science or a closely related field with a focus on numerical simulation and scientific computing. Knowledge in partial differential equations, numerical mathematics and experience in a programming language like C, C++ or FORTRAN is mandatory. Some experience in parallel programming is considered a plus. The Applicants should be interested both in the methodological development of numerical algorithms and in their implementation on highperformance computing systems.
