If you want to find a new, fun and free way to work on your English, I have some good news! There is a brand new website called www.anglais.re, where you can listen to native English speakers talking about Reunion Island. Every Thursday, a podcast is released. It is called Koz Anglais, and if you subscribe on iTunes, the podcast episode will appear automatically on your smartphone every time you synch it with your computer. The accents are different too, with voices coming from Britain, Ireland, USA, South Africa and Australia! The audio is not long, usually about four minutes, and you have the choice between two versions: a slow version, and a version at normal speed. And the icing on the cake, the text and vocab is also included, so you can read at the same time you listen! Previous episodes include: ‘Mermaid School’, ‘A Tunnel to Mafate,’ and ‘Still Life Kills’… We have already had people listening in from Korea, the USA, and Mexico!
