Who’s coming?
At this stage we have 53 members attending, 40 partners and 5 children. A list of people attending
including members’ partners / guests is attached (p.3). We have had a few cancellations, mostly from
people who are unwell (or whose partners are unwell), some of whom are undergoing chemotherapy.
We wish those people well. We will miss you at the reunion and hope to see you at a future event.
3RAR Visitors
We have invited Major Gerard KEARNS, the present Officer Commanding Charlie Company 3rd Battalion,
Royal Australian Regiment to send three members of his company to attend some of the functions at
our reunion. It has been suggested that the visitors demonstrate present day equipment while we are
at Singleton Army Base. We have had an enthusiastic reply but as yet they have not confirmed
attendance. Presumably it will depend on their operational status at the time.
3RAR Charlie Coy Vietnam 67-68 Association
As foreshadowed in the last newsletter, we are convening a general meeting of all present members on
the final morning of the reunion program, Saturday 26th at 11:00 a.m. The draft agenda is attached (p.5).
If you would like to nominate:
 yourself or another person for any of the proposed roles and/or
 a location for the next reunion
you can do so at the meeting or in advance of the meeting. If you will not be present but would like to
nominate simply complete the tear off slip at the bottom of the agenda (p.5) and email, mail or phone
through to the Reunion Organising Committee.
Website update
Please visit our website www.3rarcharliecoyvietnam67-68.com and explore pages related to the reunion
as we are continually updating the information. For example find out about the airport and buses from
the airport to Nelson Bay, get more information about events or look at pictures of where we will be
going. We have had contact from other website owners, for example 3RAR.com, and are continually
adding to the web and Facebook links.
Reunion Enquiries
If you have any questions about the accommodation arranged in Nelson Bay or about any of the
functions/events, contact us and we will do all we can to help you and ensure your needs are met.
