YOUTH NEWS
The Challenge 2000 team have begun the wrapping
fundraiser down at the mall! We have a couple of committed
young people running the stall and have already had some
volunteers put their hands up to help. The funds raised will
go towards our summer youth programmes. If you do
some shopping at the mall please come down and support
us! We will be happy to see you and wrap up the pressies
you have bought.
The Junior Youth group has
finished up for the year. It has
been a great year for all the
young people and leaders who
have been involved. Thank you to
everyone who has come along to
the group and contributed in different ways.
The Challenge 2000 Social Justice Pilgrimage have been
away for the past 5 days. Please keep them all in your
prayers as they complete their weeks journey together.
Challenge 2000 have some really cool summer holiday
programmes planned for throughout January! Keep an eye
on the youth news and on the notice board in the foyer to
see what is coming up and how you are able to be involved!
To all of those who are travelling for Christmas, safe travels
and a happy holidays! We look forward to seeing everyone
back in the new year for another jam packed 2015.

We had a fantastic response to our request for food and Christmas treats to go in the
Christmas Hampers. Last weekend we made up hampers for 45 families.
Thank You for your support and generosity, we couldn't do this each year without you.
Thank you too for your continuing contributions to our food bank through the food basket each week.

Choir for Midnight Mass
Calling all singers, from every nation and tribe. Come and give
Glory to God this Midnight Mass.
Cesar Capistrano will be taking practice sessions on the next
two Sundays 14th and 21st of December from 5pm to 7pm at
Sts Peter and Paul Church
Attending both practices is necessary to be part of this Choir.
Open to all singers.

subject to weather! 24 hours notice by text! It WILL be fine! Somewhere
between 14 and 23 December…Why? Why not!?
NB: Parking is on Homebush Road, on the bank side (Mt Kaukau side). This road is a
Bus Route. PLEASE PARK SO BUSES CAN GET THROUGH!
