CHAPEL & WORSHIP
SPORTS OLYMPICS - Students can register to compete in basketball
or volleyball. Participation in Sports Olympics is encouraged no
matter your skill level, it’s tons of fun!
CDYC’S GOT TALENT - Using drama, music, art, and other methods
of creative communications, students are encouraged to prepare
presentations in which they use their gifts and talents to communicate
truth about God and His Word.
CHAPEL SESSIONS - Spiritual growth is the central focus
of CDYC. Our speaker and worship leader will challenge and
encourage the students to grow in their relationship with Christ.
In addition, students will spend time with their small group
discussing the chapel messages and what God is doing in their
lives. CDYC is a life-changing event where you can experience
God in exciting ways.

WHAT IS CDYC?
CDYC is an extremely impactful event in the life of our
students. The time spent at CDYC provides an incredible
opportunity to build community within our youth ministries.
Over the years we have seen CDYC be a pivotal time in our
students’ spiritual journey. And to top it off, CDYC is a BLAST!
CDYC has been ministering to Jr. High and Sr. High students
since 1979. It is sponsored by the Central District of the
Missionary Church, the denomination to which Village
Church belongs.
Over 500 Jr. High students and 800 Sr. High students from
Missionary churches in Illinois and Indiana attend CDYC
each year.
CDYC will be held at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI.
Students stay in dorm housing and meals are provided in the
college cafeteria. Separate sessions are offered for Jr. High
and Sr. High students.
