Ian Adamson
Ian Adamson was
born in a London that
was still recovering
from the ravages of
World War II, born
with a heart condition
and other challenges.
From this beginning
Ian experienced the
unconditional love
of his parents and a
wonderful carefree childhood, except for the
occasional major surgery.
At the age of 11, God’s unconditional
love manifested itself again in the form of
the Christian gospel which began a lifetime’s
commitment to that cause. Exploring the truth
that God revealed led Ian to Bert Kerly and
to the camps started by Glenn Clark. It also
led Ian to the International CFO in England
and to his wife Denby of 35 years. Ian and
Denby have 3 children and now two wonderful
grandchildren.
Ian works in the mental health field which
is a great arena to practice unconditional
love. Ian will be sharing about living from the
deep places within and transforming the world
around us with the influence of God’s great
love.
David Wilkinson
Dr. David Wilkinson is a seventh-generation
Methodist minister who has been serving St.
Francis in the Foothills United Methodist church
for the past 33 years. He is scheduled to retire on
July 1st of this year. David grew up in CFO, sitting
at the feet of Glenn Clark since age one. David’s
spiritual foundations were stabilized by Glenn Clark,
Rufus Mosely, Starr Daily, Gertrude DeKoch, Frank
Laubach, Charles King, Alice Kraft, and so many
others who embraced him with unconditional love.
The Church that David has served for the past
three decades has
been a spearhead
congregation in the
whole Reconciling
movement within
the United Methodist
Church, along with
being a Sanctuary
Church and an
instrument in breaking down the Iron Curtain. One
highlight of David’s Ministry was having three
members of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR
give their own sermons at St. Francis.
David is married to Susan Wilkinson. In fact,
their first appearance at Pacific Redwoods was
just two weeks after their marriage. They are still
happily married, eager to be with us at Pacific
Redwoods, and rejoice in their five children, nine
grandchildren and one dog, Minto. Minto will not
be joining them at camp.
Pacific Redwoods Family Camp is located att
Monte Toyon, a camp set among the majesticc
redwoods of the Santa Cruz coast at Aptos,
California. There is excellent food, an athletic
field, and abundant hiking trails. Pacific Ocean
beaches are located only 2.5 miles from camp.

Camp is based
on the 1930 vision of Dr. Glenn Clark.
The camp program is designed to help
us train as “Athletes of the Spirit” and
open our lives to God physically, mentally,
emotionally, and spiritually. Pacific
Redwoods Family Camp is an adventure
in creative, joyous Christian living where
we experience oneness with each other,
the joy of union with God, the love of
Jesus, and the indwelling of the Holy
Spirit. Come experience God’s love, grow
in the power of prayer, find inner peace,
and awaken to a new joy in life.
