As our industry continues to recover, we are experiencing price increases in the majority of our raw materials, components and labor associated with the production and delivery of our products. Although we continually strive to improve productivity and reduce costs, we have not been able to offset all of these increases. Therefore, we will be implementing a 6–15% price increase effective with all orders received or released after the close of business on Friday, January 2, 2015. This variable price increase will be based on product line, market and current pricing levels. Our objective is to realign our pricing with our costs and service commitments. Specific pricing adjustments by product, location and account will be available by the middle of October and will be communicated by your Ply Gem Windows Sales Representative. The price increase will occur via a multiplier or “On-Factor” change; list prices will remain the same. This may result in small variations from the above percentage increases due to rounding of the multipliers.
