PFA Newsletter – Autumn Term 2014
Hello to everyone, and welcome to our new parents.
The Parents and Friends Association of Cranborne CE VA First School is run on an informal basis
by parents to raise funds to benefit the children at the school. This year, positions in the PFA will
be taken up as follows:

Robin Class Rep
Chaffinch Class Rep

Hungry Caterpillar Walk – joint event with Cranborne Pre-School
This was held on Saturday 20th September and we were really pleased with the turnout at this new
event. We raised an impressive £386.45, which will be split between us and the Pre-School.
Many thanks to all who attended, we hope you enjoyed it. I would also like to thank those that
helped and donated cakes.
Second Hand Uniform
We will be selling second hand uniform on Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th September.
Ladies Christmas Shopping and Pamper Evening
This will be held in Cranborne Village Hall from 7pm on Friday 21st November. We plan to have as
many local traders as we can, and there will be small beauty treatments available to those who
want them. More details to follow soon.
If any parents are interested in having a table at this event, please let us know as soon as
possible.
Finally, I would like to thank Emmanuelle Hartstone for designing our new PFA logo which is at the
top of this letter!
If you have any questions or would like to know more about anything related to the PFA, or if you
would like to become more involved, please speak with Natalie, Nina or any of the class reps. You
can also email us at [email protected].
We are hoping to make this another successful year for our fundraising, and we thank you in
anticipation of your help.
Yours sincerely,
For the PFA
