RADIO TELEVISION OF SERBIA Takovska 10 Belgrade www.rts.rs Announces PUBLIC INVITATION TO BID For the selection of program contents by independent European productions that would be broadcast within Radio Television of Serbia programs in year 2015. Radio Television of Serbia is announcing the public invitation to bid in accordance with Article 10. of the Public Service Broadcasters Act ("Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia" no. 83/2014.). All independent program producers and other radio and television program rights holders - physical persons and legal entities are entitled to bid (hereinafter: independent producer). In case there is further interest in renewing existing contracts, independent producers with whom RTS has already concluded contracts or annexes that regulate rights and obligations of both parties and based on which program contents are broadcast on RTS and whose validity expires during 2015, are also entitled and obliged to bid. Bidders can apply within 25 days from the day the Invitation to bid is published in daily print and on the RTS website. The bid refers to radio and television programmes concerning news and current affairs, schooling, cultural, artistic, educational, religious, children's, entertainment and sports content, and also content focusing on national minorities, ethnic groups, and other content that furthers the rights and interests of citizens, produced by independent producers from member countries of the European Broadcasting Union. Terms: The application submitted by the Independent producers must contain data identifying the rights holder or producer; genre of the programme; elaborated synopsis or screenplay; and a price projection, i.e. a projection of budget claims. The application may contain completed programmes, pilot programmes or any other suitable materials. Produced programmes can be submitted only in DVD format. Only applications in the Serbian language shall be considered. Bidders are instructed submit their bids in sealed envelopes to the following address: Radio-televizija Srbije, Beograd, Takovska 10, Pisarnica RTS - za Direkciju RTS - IV sprat, with a note: KONKURS ZA EVROPSKE NEZAVISNE PRODUKCIJE – NE OTVARATI. (INVITATION TO BID FOR INDEPENDENT EUROPEAN PRODUCIONS - DO NOT OPEN) On the reverse of the envelope the bidders should indicate: the name of the independent producer, first and last name of the person in charge - contact person, address-head office, telephone and fax numbers and E-mail address. Selection of program content by European independent productions will be completed within 60 days from the day of public opening of all the received bids by the independent producers. RTS management will review the bids by independent producers and select the ones it deems suitable based on editorial policies of the Radio Television of Serbia in its capacity as the Public Broadcasting Institution of the Republic of Serbia, artistic and technical quality of programmes, and economic/financial criteria.
