April 21, 2014
Call to Order at 7:30pm
Roll Call
Present: 11 Courtney Adams, Ashley Banks, Breanne Bozetti, Mollie Cox, Raven Gougis,
Jordan Holman, Dylan Kroder, Raheam Hudson, Prince Rule-Hill, Matthew Ryg, Allen
Shelton
Late: 1 Ryan Gougis 7:32pm Matt Ryg made the motion to recognize Ryan, Jordan
Holman seconded that motion.
Absent: 0
Vacant: 1: Visual Arts

Mollie Cox motioned to approve the agenda
Dylan Kroder seconded that motion. The motion passed

Public Comments
Executive Reports
a. Executive: Mollie Cox: Please turn in class schedules as soon as possible or a
meeting will be picked by the Executive and Vice Executive. Turn as many event
approvals in because the board will vote next week. Congratulations to Matt and
his committee, Cornell West was a huge success. Over summer break please reply
back to Executive emails by that Wednesday each week by 5:00pm.
b. Vice Executive: Ashley Banks: Please sign up to help out with the Tye Dye
event. Go during your office hours, but please be sure to clock in first and then
come back and clock back out. Promote Springfest today and The “Can I Live
Rally”.
Committee Reports
a. Comedy-Allen Shelton An event approval will be given at next weeks’ meeting.
b. Concerts-Breanne Bozetti Springfest is Tomorrow. Continue to promote. All the
bands for sunset concerts have been booked and will showcase a variety of
different genres.
c. Films-Courtney Adams Films are still being discussed for next semester.
d. Homecoming-Dylan Kroder No Events Scheduled. The theme will be approved
at next BOD meeting.
e. Marketing-Raheam Hudson Polo shirts have been ordered. The Can I Live
Rally is tonight, please stop by.
f. Lectures-Matt Ryg In total there was 1,470 attendees at the Cornell West lecture.
Very good job to Matt and the entire lectures committee.
g. SPCTV-Prince Rull-Hall SPC-TV is getting the Cornell West project together and The
Lust for Sale show.
h. Special Events-Raven Gougis You must be 18 and up to get on the zipline and
sign the waiver. Your student ID is also required. Relaxation events are being put
into the works as well.
i. Late Nite-Ryan Gougis A Late Nite committee has been created and the first
meeting will be Wednesday at 6pm in the SPC office.
j. Visual Arts-Vacant Purchase Awards reception is April 24th. Tye Dye is April
28th.
k. Social Media-Jordan Holman No events scheduled.

Advisors’ Report
a. Jenna: None
b. Sara: Complete office hours and remember to stop by your Grad Assistants if you
have any problems or questions. You still have office hours and final committee
meeting next week.
c. Madeline: None
d. Emily: Promote all SPC Events and turn in your schedules promptly.
e. Don: The Cornell West lecture was great and for the students with full coverage.
Continue to look for a visual arts director. The village people will be outside of
the student center having some give-aways and live music performances. Go
check it out from 12pm-3pm.

Announcements Mollie’s office hours have changed so please take those into
consideration if you need to meet with her. Wear your SPC shirts tomorrow
during the day.
