LONDON WINTER RUN AT A GLANCE
A unique annual running event for 15,000 people on a Central London route taking in London’s most iconic landmarks.
The event will be launched in June 2014 and will take place for the first time on Sunday 1st Febuary 2015.
The London Winter Run will:





Encourage people to keep fit through the year
Harness the spirit of the New Year Resolution
Become an annual classic sporting event for London
Raise £millions for charity each year
Support London community sports, leisure and volunteer projects
The 10km route runs through The City of Westminster and City of London



Iconic landmarks on the route include: Embankment start line, London Eye, Tower Bridge, Tower of
London, St Pauls, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Whitehall finish line
One of only 14 road closures on the Embankment each year
Approval for the route given by the Mayor’s office, GLA and relevant Boroughs

LONDON WINTER RUN PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
The London Winter Run will be working with a select number of partners with a focus on working together to
enhance the participant experience and build the event story over many months. Human Race will be
committed to understand your business and brand objectives and bring them to life through this unique
event.
The communication platform for the event will last through all 12 months of the year. The marketing and
