Grand Draw Hampers During the week commencing Monday 3rd November we would very much appreciate it if you could donate some items from the following list which we will use to make up the luxury hampers for the Grand Draw prizes. Nursery Jade Opal Pearl Amber Emerald Diamond Sapphire Amethyst Nuts, crisps, nibbles, tortillas, dips Jam, marmalade, biscuits for cheese, honey Pasta, sauces, cook-in- sauces, red or green tissue paper Olive oils, tea, coffee, sweet biscuits, mustard Cakes, cake mixes, sugars, mince pies, shortbread Christmas puddings, dates, tinsel, ribbon Pickles, stuffing, cranberry sauce, chocolates Dried fruits, soups, pickled onions, olives Sweets, tinned puddings, vinegars, Christmas crackers Please could you ensure anything donated has a ‘use by’ date after 26th December! Also if you have any hampers or baskets that you no longer need, we will put them to good use. Please leave items on the table in the milk shed. Grand Draw Tickets to win a Luxury Hamper You will shortly receive book of Grand Draw tickets which we would be grateful if you could sell to family and friends. Tickets cost £1 each or £5 per book. Please ensure each ticket is completed with a name and either address or telephone number. Please return all sold tickets with money and any unsold tickets to the School Office marked ‘Friends – Grand Draw’ by Friday 21st November 2014. Non-Uniform Days In exchange for your child wearing his/her own clothes, please bring in the following items: Friday 14th November 2014 a chocolate gift item for the chocolate tombola stall st Friday 21 November 2014 a bottle of any kind for the bottle tombola stall These items will be collected by committee members in the playground before the first whistle on these days. Please make sure that all clothes are suitable for a whole day at school. No football strips and school shoes must be worn. Jam Jars As some of you may have seen, one of the stalls at the Christmas Fair has a prize of a jam jar filled with surprises. To follow a tradition of the Committee we would appreciate donations of jam jars filled with either sweets OR new small toys/pencils/rubbers/jewellery/cars etc - please leave these in the milk shed for collection. Many thanks. Cakes We would be grateful for donations of homemade cakes for this popular stall. Please bring your cakes to the school library on the morning of the Christmas Fair & Winter Market any time after 10 am. Design a Programme Cover Competition Another great tradition of the Ewell Grove Winter Market is the design a programme cover competition. The entry fee is 50p and you will find an entry form to use attached to this letter. Please return your entries and 50p fee to the School Office marked ‘Friends - Cover Competition’ by Friday 14th November 2014. If you would like to help us out at the Winter Market we would be very grateful for any amount of your time! We always need spare pairs of hands for setting up the evening before (between 6.00pm- 9.00pm on Friday 21st November) and from 9.00am on the day. We would also welcome any help on a stall at the Market. If you would like to help, please contact a committee member or leave a note for us with the School Office.
