Formed by Arch. Gianluca Andreoletti (Rome 15.06.1965 works and lives in Rome) and Claudio
Valentino (Worcester GB 15.09.1967, works and lives in Bologna) in 1997. The office has won several
international competitions, working also with private clients and government offices.
Since its founding Avaa ANDREOLETTI & VALENTINO ASSOCIATES has carried out its activities
in the field of international awards for its excellence and innovation.
The architects Andreoletti Gianluca and Claudio Valentino, after different career paths ,
they combine their creative skills and techniques to better develop , as well as the working
dimension, the European character of the architectural works designed . The business areas
ranging from public works to private ones , worn down from space to the urban scale , addressing
the issues with the same care and sensitivity. Professionally designed for every level of project
activity , as well as the control and direction of the works in the executive phase , the Avaa is
known for an architecture oriented towards a continuous search for innovative solutions with a

His staff is composed of n.3 senior architect:
arch. Roberta Gentile, Paola Guidugli e Claudio Malaspina and many young architects as
collaborators from different countries.
Actively collaborate with EBNER AND FRIENDS (ROME) www.ebnerandfriends.com and,
before, European partners as Atelier Ebner + Ullmann ( Vienna / Monaco ) the arch. Francis Soler
(Paris) and stably supported technical consultants which 3TI Progetti SpA the engineer Maximilian
Faina (ITECI) for the technological systems and sustainability , prof. ing. Fabio Brancaleoni ( EDIN Srl )
and Eng . Renato Vita ( Vita & Pagnoni ) for the structures exploring new contextual relations and
also through the new symbolic artistic contamination with artists such as Nunzio (Rome) , Martin
Schmidt (Monaco) Nunzio (Rome).

Gianluca Andreoletti was born on 15/06/1965 in Rome where he lives and works. After his
PhD in Theories of architectural design with a thesis on the zero degree of architecture has taught
contract Architectural and Urban Design at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" L. Quaroni. Held
various lectures and conferences at the University of Architecture of Genoa, Venice, Trieste,
Roma3. In 2001 he was a member of the international jury of the competition MACRO Museum of
Contemporary Art of Rome. It 'was a finalist with APST for the prize of the Academy of Architecture
in 2003 at Accademia di San Luca.
Claudio Valentino was born in Worcester (UK) on 15/09/1967 currently lives in Bologna. He
graduated from the University of Rome "La Sapienza" in 1993 and after several work experiences in
Italy and in Europe (France, Austria) has established his business in Rome and Bologna. In over 15
years it has developed considerable experience in the design and site supervision ranging from
movie theaters to residences, as well as to urban projects such as the square of Oristano in Sardinia,
following the work from preliminary concept to project management in construction site.

AVAA has exhibited his work at conferences and in many cultural and artistic events both in Italy
and abroad. (Rome, Venice, Trieste, Milan, Genoa, Florence, Bologna, Trento, Italy, London,
Sarajevo, Paris, Cologne, Monaco, Munich, Helsinki, Seoul, Barcelona).
Her works and projects have been published in leading magazines (Casabella, Domus, Abitare,
Area, Archetype, Building, Casa Amica, La Repubblica, AA Files, Concept-Korea, Wettbewerb
Architektur, A + U Japan.
