Mabuhay again from the Philippines! Have you figured out yet what mabuhay means? As you are reading this, we are getting ready for bed after a long day of ministry which began at 5:30 A.M. when I preached at the outdoor sunrise worship service of the Glan Evangelical Alliance Church. In about 12 hours time, it will be Monday morning in the Philippines and we will begin the LeadersFor training for another group of about 40 pastors in General Santos, the southernmost city of the Philippines. This is a beautiful port city roughly the same population as Hamilton. By Thursday, the first round of training will be finished and we will make the long trip back to Manila to begin our journey home. Lord willing, I hope to be with you next Sunday morning (if jet lag allows). Many thanks for your prayer support during this time. To keep up to date on my impressions and experiences of Filipino food, culture, sights, history, people and ministry, please check out my blog “Mission to the Philippines” on our church’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/westhighlandchurch). May the Lord bless you all richly in worship today. I am praying for you. Mabuhay to you all! Offering Report Offering—January 25, 2015 $ 18,887 ARE YOU A GUEST TODAY?
