Parental Survey
Again this year, there is the opportunity for
parents and guardians of pupils at Ysgol
Friars,to complete the Parental survey. We
wish to canvass opinion on the effectiveness
of our school, and to look for areas we might
improve.
Paper copies of the parental survey have
been given to each pupil but please contact
the school for a paper copy to complete and
return by Friday 13th February 2015 if you
have not received the letter.
Oxbridge Offers
The school would like to congratulate three
of its students within Year 13 on their offers
to attend Cambridge University.
Musical Success
The school would like to wish Iolo Edwards,
of Year 13, who won the Anglesey Rotary
Young Musician Award in October the best
of luck as he competes in the next round of
the national Rotary competition in
Birkenhead this February.
Another talented musician, Kezia LovickJones in Year 11, has been selected to play
the violin with the National Youth Orchestra
of Wales and the saxophone with the
National Youth Wind Orchestra of Wales.
Congratulations to her on her success.
Angus Coyne- Grell, has been offered a
place at Magdalene College, Cambridge
University to study Natural Sciences.
Sporting Success
Callum Jones, has been offered a place at
Girton College, Cambridge University to
study Natural Sciences.
Congratulations to our fourteen runners
who represented Arfon in the Eryri
championships held in Dolgellau; of whom
ten have now qualified to represent Eryri in
the Welsh National Championships.
