7th Annual Gino Capone Round-Robin Wrestling Tournament

2 Gymnasiums – 5 Mats
LIMIT 350 ENTRANTS – PREREGISTRATION ONLY – NO WALK-ONS
Doors open at 7:00 am. Everyone to Gym 1 at 8:45 am for Opening Ceremony
Wrestling starts at 9:00 am SHARP
(Wrestlers late to mat side will forfeit the missed matches)

Age Divisions:
Pee Wee – 5 & 6
Bantam – 7 & 8
Midget – 9 & 10
Junior – 11 & 12
No 7th Grade Wrestlers. (Age on tournament day).
Weight Classes:
Each age division will be sorted into groups of approximately 5 wrestlers closest in weight/experience.
Weigh-In:
Honor system for age and weight. Tournament director reserves the right to check weights and ages at
any time for any reason.
Challenges:
Challenges by other wrestlers/parents/coaches must be initiated through the tournament director.
Anyone issuing a challenge must have birth certificate AND pass a weight check. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Bouts:
1 minute periods for all divisions. OT is 1 minute neutral followed by a 30 second ride-out (if
necessary).
Rules:
Round-Robin style tournament modified PIAA rules. We will try to get you 4 matches!
Awards:
Given to each wrestler
Admission:
Adults $4, Students $2
Entry Fee:
$20 each, or $15 per individual on team/club of 10 or more (please send forms all together with a
team/club roster)
