Congratulations to the Sixth Form Dacorum Dragons' Apprentice Team
(LUKE SILLS, GEORGE CALLCUT, MATT GODWIN, JAMIE PETAGINE, LUCY
BISHOP, HANNAH ADLINGTON-GOULDING, SORCHA CASEY,
HOLLY DiMARCO, TEMBI HUNT and TIFFANY BUTTERS) who beat 10 other
teams to become the overall winners of the challenge and the team to raise the
most funds for charity with their brilliant business idea of holding a Christmas
Craft Fair at the school. The team, with the encouragement of their mentor
from Kings Langley's RES, turned £100 into £1900 for The Waterside Centre
in Kings Langley, a non-profit making organisation which provides day care
facilities for people with learning difficulties.

World Book Day Celebrations 2014
To celebrate WBD 2014 we held a live-stream Q&A
with author Robert Muchamore (C.H.E.R.U.B
series) and ran a Hunger Games-inspired
competition over two days. The following week
we held another successful Book Fair, raising a
total of
£530!
