Voters may obtain applications for absentee ballots
at the Office of the District Clerk. Such applications
must be received by the District at least seven
(7) days before the Special District Meeting if the
ballot is to be mailed to the voter or on the day
before said meeting if the ballot is to be delivered
personally to the voter. A list of all persons to
whom absentee ballots shall have been issued will
be available in the office of the Clerk of the District
on each of the five (5) days immediately prior to
December 16, 2014 except Saturdays, Sundays,
and holidays, and such list will so be posted at the
polling place.

Total Project Cost: $6,200,000
The Proposition
Shall the Board of Education of the Alexandria
Central School District be authorized to (1)
perform certain reconstruction and renovations
to the school building, bus garage and grounds
including windows, ventilators, boilers,
piping, flooring and elevator, to renovate the
educational spaces, the nurse’s office bathroom
to make it handicapped accessible, and to make
improvements to the softball field, baseball
field and auditorium, at a maximum cost of
$6,200,000, including architectural, legal and
bonding fees (the “Project”), and (2) to raise the
cost of the Project by the levy of a tax upon the
taxable property of the District and collected in
annual installments as provided in §416 of the
Education Law, and, in anticipation of such tax,
obligations of said District may be issued.
