Referendum Vote - Tuesday, December 16, 2014 Alexandria Central Proposed Capital Project Financial Impact Scope of Work Total Project Cost: $6,200,000 The Proposition Shall the Board of Education of the Alexandria Central School District be authorized to (1) perform certain reconstruction and renovations to the school building, bus garage and grounds including windows, ventilators, boilers, piping, flooring and elevator, to renovate the educational spaces, the nurse’s office bathroom to make it handicapped accessible, and to make improvements to the softball field, baseball field and auditorium, at a maximum cost of $6,200,000, including architectural, legal and bonding fees (the “Project”), and (2) to raise the cost of the Project by the levy of a tax upon the taxable property of the District and collected in annual installments as provided in §416 of the Education Law, and, in anticipation of such tax, obligations of said District may be issued.
