Awite Bioenergie GmbH Grünseiboldsdorfer Weg 5 85416 Langenbach Gemany Hands on for Awite: 1st German Biogas Training Days Bangkok Langenbach, 1 July 2014: From 9 to 12 June the 1st German Biogas Training Days were held in Bangkok. As part of the German “Exportinitiative Erneuerbare Energien” (www.exporterneuerbare.de) this training event was promoted by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) and organized by the Deutschen Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). As Thailand and other countries in this region (e.g. Vietnam, Malaysia, and Philippines) have very ambitious expansion targets in the area of biogas, the event was fully booked with more than 50 participants from the whole of South-East Asia. In co-operation with our long-term sales and service partner Thai Daiichi Intertrade Co., Ltd. (TDI) Awite presented the know-how in the area of gas analysis as well as the functionality and possibilities of AwiControl for the automation of biogas plants. The low follow-up costs and the sophisticated remote access capabilities were among the features that were met with a very positive response. This gives hope for a further increase in demand and expansion of business activities of Awite and TDP in this region.
