Powerhouse Project is Seeking Dedicated Volunteers to assist with the
delivery of a Conference for and about Young Carers.
When?: Conference—Friday, November 14 (8am-4pm)
Volunteer Training—Friday, November 7 (4-6pm, dinner included)
Who should apply?: Those who have these skills and interests*







 Is a child, youth or young adult who assists with the daily lived
This Conference is brought to you by:
experience of a loved one
 Has a close relative with a chronic illness, disability, mental
health issue, addiction issue or a socioeconomic factor
(language barrier, single parent family, etc.)
 Takes on caregiving responsibilities and experiences the
emotional impact of the care or concern in their home
