Job-Beschreibung
Making the game tick - the Engine Programmer works on the core technology upon which all
the other systems depend. Background file loaders, running the world node graph, debugging
menus, and viewers and profiling routines are just some of the essential responsibilities of
any Game Engine Programmer.
With mounting commercial pressures to increase the re-use of software development effort,
the Engine Programmer will find themselves working in the central "Core Team" on the game
engine shared between multiple game development projects.

Very strong JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 skills

Experience of as many hardware platforms as possible
Responsibilities:
Design and implement real-time 2D/3D Javascript game engine
Design and implement interactive tools for urban designers and system engineers in
general
Research, analyze, and push the state-of-the-art in real-time based on canvas, or
WebGL rendering technology
Validate, critique, and improve the user experience of our 2D and 3D engines
Prototype web applications
Build and maintain unit tests using the latest methodology and technology
Work closely with software developers and product engineers in a highly interactive,
creative environment
Requirements:
Master’s degree in computer science or track record of 5 published game titles
Strong background in software design, computer graphics, and real-time rendering
Excellent programming skills (JavaScript/WebGL, Shaders, HTML5, CSS3, NodeJS, etc.)
In-depth experience with the development of game engine technology
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and meet tight schedules
Excellent analytical, mathematical and creative thinking skills
Recommended Qualifications:
Familiarity of the use of Game Engines in general
Knowledge of 2D/3D tools such as Maya, 3DS MAX, SketchUp, Blender, or similar
Familiarity of the use of Server technology such Microsoft and/or AWS
