Justin Aukema Hello my name is Justin Aukema. I am from Red Wing, a small town in the state of Minnesota in the United States. I came to Japan in 2008 to study Japanese, as well as learn many other things about Japan. For two years, I taught English at Kashiwai High School in Chiba Prefecture. I had a great time there and learned many things about teaching. My wonderful coworkers and students also helped me to improve my Japanese and taught me about all different aspects of life in Japan. Currently, I am a first year graduate student at Sophia (Jochi) University where I am studying modern Japanese history and literature. In the future, I would like to continue to work in education, as well as to help work as a conduit, introducing Japanese history, literature, and movies to the English speaking world. My hobbies and interests include bicycling, photography, writing, and drawing. I am always interested in learning new things, meeting new people, and hearing new ideas. I look forward to meeting and speaking English with you and I hope that we can learn many things from each other! 始めまして、ジャスティンアウケマと申します。私の出身はレッドウイングという、アメリカのミネソタ州にある、小さな町です。日本語や日本について習いたいという気持ちで、2008 年に来日し、2 年間にわたって千葉県の柏井高校で英語を教えました。生徒と素晴らしい同僚から日本や教えることについて、色々なことを教わりました。現在、私は上智大学院での一年生で、近現代日本史と近代日本文学を学んでいます。これから、教師を目指しつつ、世界に日本の歴史や文学や映画、様々なことを紹介したいという目標を持っています。私の興味は広いですが、自転車を乗ることや写真を撮ることや絵と文書を書くこと等には特に趣味を持っています。ほくは新しい考え方と新しいことを習うのがとても楽しいので多くの人に出会いたいです。あなたと出会える事も楽しみにしています！英語能力を高めながら、沢山のことを、お互いに楽しく習いましょう！
