特別講演会のお知らせ
来る 7 月 16 日（木）に、IWA 会長である Helmut Kroiss 氏による講演会を予定してお
ります。これは、東京大学大学院工学系研究科附属水環境制御研究センターの特別講義シ
リーズとして開催しますが、学内の学生や教職員だけでなく、汚泥処理などの下水道実務
の方々にも興味あるものと思います。そこで、東京周辺の下水道事業体などの方々にも広
くご紹介したいと存じます。なお、同時通訳はありません。

Challenge of sludge digestion with high solids concentrations and

The lecture is on sludge digestion with high solids concentrations in order to minimize
digester volume. The effect on the waste water treatment was investigated mainly
regarding nitrogen removal. Then the advantages and limits are also discussed.
