IoT の登場は，2 つのストーリーで語られる．1 つ目は，「スマートフォンの登場に端を発した」という
ストーリーである．スマートサーモスタット，スマートロック，防犯システムなど，多様なサービスの
登場は，このストーリーの延長線にある．これらのサービスは，単にインターネットに接続されるだけ
でなく，モノを通して得られる体験を再定義してユーザに示すことにより，大きく花開きつつある．2
つ目は，
「社会保障やエネルギー問題といった社会的要請によって登場した」というストーリーである．
農業，建築・土木，物流，エネルギーなどにおいて，このストーリーに基づき多くの取り組みが行われ
ている．しかしながら，多様な産業を ICT によって抜本的に変革するという到達点と比較すると， ICT
が浸透するプロセスの初期状態にすぎない．本講演では，前者をエクスペリエンス指向 IoT，後者を社
会基盤指向 IoT と呼び，両者を比較するとともに，社会基盤指向 IoT に向けたフィールド指向アプロー
チについて示す．

Abstract
This talk discusses and compares two stories of the emergence of IoT trend. The first is that the emergence of
smartphones urged the IoT trend. The second is that social demands made the IoT trend. We call the former
Experience Oriented IoT, and the latter Society Infrastructure Oriented IoT. In this talk, we discuss two IoTs, and
provide Field-First Approach for Society Infrastructure IoT.
