ABSTRACT
This descriptive study aimed to investigate the perceptions of people on
well – being in 7 components consisted of health, knowledge, working life, income
and its distribution, families, environment, and good governance in Ban Sanoon,
Taluang subdistrict, Phimai district, Nakhon Ratchasima province. One hundred thirty
one study sample were selected by convenience sampling. Data were collected by a
set of questionnaires developed by the researcher based on literature review. The
content validity were test by 3 experts and the content validity index was 0.95. The
reliability tested by Kuder Richardson 20 was 0.86. Data were analyzed by descriptive
statistics.
The results were that most of subjects had perceptions on well – being in a
high level and separated by following in 7 components which health and working life,
they were perceived more than 90 % that were well – being, income and its
distribution, families, and environment were perceived 80 - 83 %. For good
governance and knowledge were perceived less than other components.
This study indicate that people play high attention on health and working
life. Therefore, to create understanding of people on all components of well - being
should be balance and continues for the truly holistic well - being.
