３回生演習科目要項／Third-Year Seminar Subject Summary 学部：専門演習（Major Seminar）担当者 / Instructor: （銭学鵬 / QIAN Xuepeng）担当学部 / College: （APS） ★演習のテーマ／Seminar Topic★ Industrial Ecology and Sustainable Society 産業エコロジーと持続可能な社会 ★演習の目標／Course Objectives★ We try to approach environmental issues by integrating art and science. Science means that you need to have fundamental environmental science and engineering knowledge. Art includes policies, management, business and other social science related to environment. Various environmental issues are studied here based on Systems Approach, which helps you think comprehensively. Furthermore, basic research skills including making reasonable research plan, literature review, collecting first-hand data through field work, analytical skills will be trained for advancing research and finally completing graduation thesis in 4th-year seminar. 本ゼミでは、主に文理融合の視点から、環境問題にアプローチしています。APU は文系大学ですので、ここで「理」というのは、環境問題を理解するに欠かせない理工学の基礎知識を把握しないといけません。「文」とは、環境に関連する政策や、マネジメント、ビジネス等社会科学です。本ゼミでは、システムアプローチに基づいて、幅広い環境問題に関する研究を行い、システム的な思考により問題分析・評価・最適化などの手法を駆使しながら、複雑な問題の解決を探します。さらに、4 回生ゼミに研究を進め、最終的に卒業論文を完成することのために、研究計画の確立をはじめ、文献調査、フィールドワークによるファーストハンドの情報収集方法、分析方法など基礎的な研究スキルの習得が求められています。 ★演習の運営方法／Class Style★ (1) Campus base: seminar meeting once a week; individual presentation on progress report or literature review once 2 weeks (2) Field Study: 1-2 times field studies will be carried out. Furthermore, collecting first-hand information by your own field work is recommended. (3) Off-Campus: if you can’t attend seminars due to job-hunting, oversea studies, etc., progress report and instruction will be carried out through e-mails. （1）キャンパスベース：周１回研究会、2 週一度の頻度で各自の研究進捗状況や関連論文や著書の内容概要を報告してもらって、それに応じて指導を行います。（2）フィールドスタディ：年 1～2 回実施しますので、積極に参加してください。また各自でファーストハンド情報を取るための現地調査を行うこともお勧めです。（3）キャンパス外：就職活動や留学等によって研究会に参加できない場合には、メールで報告と指導を行います。 ★開講言語／Language of Instruction★ English/日本語３回生演習科目要項／Third-Year Seminar Subject Summary 学部：専門演習（Major Seminar）担当者 / Instructor: （銭学鵬 / QIAN Xuepeng）担当学部 / College: （APS） ★使用するテキスト・参考文献などの紹介/Texts and references used in your class★ Books, journal papers and reports will be selected according to research topics.
