Participants are required to be critical, to put stress on questions coming from our daily life, to join the seminar with a positive behavior and to cooperate with classmates from the seminar ３回生演習科目要項／回生演習科目要項／ThirdThird-Year Seminar Subject Summary 学部：学部：専門演習（専門演習（Major Seminar） Seminar）担当者 / Instructor: （井口由布/ 由布/ IGUCHI Yufu） Yufu）担当学部 / College: （APS） APS） ★担当教員の ★ 担当教員のプロフィール／プロフィール／Instructor’s Profile★ 専門は思想史ならびに東南アジア地域研究。博士論文は『マレーシアにおける国民的「主体」形成』。修士時代にはコーネル大学に留学しベネディクト･アンダーソンや酒井直樹のもとで、カルチュラル･スタディーズやポストコロニアル批評について深く学んだ。地域としては東南アジアやマレーシアに着目している。学部時代から東南アジアについての研究をし、博士課程ではマラヤ大学に 2 年間の留学を経験。 The instructor was educated at the Graduate School of Area and Culture Studies, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (Japan), the Graduate School of Cornell University (USA) and the Graduate School of University of Malaya (Malaysia). Her dissertation is “The Formation of National ‘Subject’ in Malaysia” (2004). She majored in intellectual history and Southeast Asian Studies. When she was taking her master’s course, she learned cultural studies and postcolonial critique under Benedict Anderson and Sakai Naoki at Cornell University. She conducted research in Malaysia when she was a doctorate course student in University of Malaya.
