Asger Jorn, medeoprichter van Cobra en
het Internationale Situationisme, is een onmisbare schakel binnen de
Europese
naoorlogse
kunst.
Asger Jorn, a founder of
Cobra and Situationist International, is an indispensable link in post-war European art.
TRACES:
100 YEARS ASGER JORN
‘Traces’ toont schilderijen, werken op papier,
boeken, teksten en keramiek van Jorn, alsmede
werk van een aantal tijdgenoten. Jacqueline de
Jong, voormalig medeSituationist, is vertegenwoordigd met de installatie ‘Baked Patatoes’.
‘Traces’ presents paintings,
works on paper, books,
texts and ceramics by Asger Jorn, as well as works
by a number of his contemporaries. Jacqueline
de Jong, a former fellow
Situationist, is represented
by her ‘Baked Patatoes’ installation.

‘The Secret of Art’ presenteert een omvangrijke
schenking van Otto van
de Loo en familie van
150 grafische werken
van Asger Jorn. De
schenking beslaat een
kwart van het volledige
en veelzijdige grafische
oeuvre van Jorn.
‘The Secret of Art’ presents
a generous gift by Otto van
de Loo and family of 150
prints by Asger Jorn. This
major donation encompasses a full quarter of Jorn’s
versatile printmaking production.
