Our students and staff were energized and motivated as we begin this new week at Holy Family Catholic School. Mr. Manibusan is co-founder of 2 by 2 Ministries, a preaching/music ministry. A Catholic Lay Evangelizer and Undercover Catechist, Jesse utilizes music, spoken word, humor, and movement to convey the mission of Christ the Church. Jesse has a MA in Multicultural Ministries, from the Franciscan School of Theology , GTU, Berkeley, CA., and is published by OCP, spiritandsong.com and GIA Publications. HFCS Running Club kicked off last Thursday with a great start. Any student who is interested may join us on Thursdays, 3:10—3:45 at the Hornets Nest. Students received flyers and order forms last week and these must be returned to your child’s teacher by Wednesday, November 12. Students will wear formal uniform. Holy Family Catholic School Advisory Council is accepting nominations for an open position for a parent member. The School Advisory Council is a consultative body of caring parents and parishioners who are committed to the Catholic School and serve to support and assist the Principal for the good of the school community. In consultation with the Pastor and Principal the Council has responsibility for matters involving planning, policy development and compliance, finances and development.
