AWAKENING!
A big Thank You to Jesse Manibusan for joining us at our Monday
Assembly this morning. Our students and staff were energized and
motivated as we begin this new week at Holy Family Catholic
School. Mr. Manibusan is co-founder of 2 by 2 Ministries, a
preaching/music ministry. A Catholic Lay Evangelizer and
Undercover Catechist, Jesse utilizes music, spoken word, humor,
and movement to convey the mission of Christ the Church. Jesse
has a MA in Multicultural Ministries, from the Franciscan School of
Theology , GTU, Berkeley, CA., and is published by OCP,
spiritandsong.com and GIA Publications. Come for a time of
spiritual growth Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday,
November 10-12 beginning at 6:45pm. More information is posted

Running Club is Back! HFCS Running Club
kicked off last Thursday with a great start. Any
student who is interested may join us on
Thursdays, 3:10—3:45 at the Hornets Nest.
Students must submit the signed agreement before
they can participate. A Special thank you to Heidi
Hillard, Allan Paddach, Julie Harding, and Cassie Duke for

Lifetouch School Picture Retakes: Get ready for Class Picture
Day and Individual Retakes on November 13. Students received
flyers and order forms last week and these must be returned to
your child’s teacher by Wednesday, November 12. Students will
wear formal uniform.
Holy Family Catholic School Advisory Council is accepting
nominations for an open position for a parent member. The School
Advisory Council is a consultative body of caring parents and
parishioners who are committed to the Catholic School and serve
to support and assist the Principal for the good of the school
community. In consultation with the Pastor and Principal the
Council has responsibility for matters involving planning, policy
development and compliance, finances and development.
Advisory Council meetings are held the third Wednesday of each
month at 6:30 pm. Please contact Beth Grimes at
[email protected], or any Advisory Council member with
questions if interested.
Lunch Menu for December is coming home today with your
student in the Monday Folder. Please note the return date is
Monday, November 17.
Knights of Columbus Casino Night: Please join us for fun and
fellowship on Saturday, November 15, in the Hawaiian Falls Aloha
Room from 7pm—11pm. Tickets are $40 per individual and $75
per couple which includes food, all drinks & game chips to get

Thanksgiving Feast is a tradition at
HFCS when 8th Graders prepare a meal
and invite their parents and grandparents
to join them for lunch. This years FEAST is
Tuesday, November 18 and will be served
in the Holy Family Life Center at noon.

Holy Family Catholic School Informational Meeting:
HFCS will be hosting a school informational coffee for
prospective parents December 4th at 9am. If you would like

Nolan Catholic High School invites you to
join us for our annual Open House on Sunday,
November 16, noon to 3 pm. Discover for
yourself the difference a Nolan Catholic
Education can make in your student’s faith
formation and in their preparation to go out and change the

talk about NCHS , student life, academic programs, the

Holy Family Walk-a-Thon: HFCS will be holding our 2nd
annual Walk-A-Thon Friday, November 21 at 1:30. An
information letter as well as pledge cards were sent home
with students last Monday. We encourage all students to
obtain as many pledges as possible. Prizes will be awarded to
the top fundraisers.
