Tuition & Notary Public Mrs. Sandy Zaleski, ext. 404 Psalm 34 My Dear People, Once again I need to interrupt the survey report to present to you another matter of great importance. Presently we have about a dozen school-aged children who are preparing for the Sacraments of Initiation. There are also three teenagers in the same situation. In recent months I have also received inquiry from several young adults who are interested in joining the Catholic Church. For the grade school children we have a group established but it is likely to become too large in the near future and we are in need of help with this. For Adults, we have had the faithful and generous support of Mrs. Barbara Knobbs and Mrs. Nancy Carey, but our RCIA team needs at least a few more members. The teenagers are not able to be with the adults for this process so we have a substantial need for folks, especially those who relate well with young people, to join in this effort. Anyone you know who would be good with this, please encourage them to contact me or Becky Español in the near future. Anyone above the age of 18, has received the Sacraments of Initiation, and is in other ways already living as a Catholic is eligible to help with this important apostolate. “On the job training” will be provided. After studying the situation, and following the advice of professionals, beginning on September 2, we will be trying a "loop" procedure in the parking lot. Cars will enter the parking lot by the first driveway, proceed to the parking lot door at the end of the Upper school, where students will be dropped off and enter the building. In order to make this work smoothly, and for the safety of all children, NO PARENT MAY LEAVE YOUR CAR. The car line has to continue to move in a safe manner. Children need to be ready to exit from the right side of the car. Students and teachers will open car doors. Cars will turn left and exit the parking lot by the middle driveway. Faculty members and hopefully, police officers will be present to direct the procedure. Please abide by the directions and time factor. Students should not arrive before 7:30. Breakfast will begin on September 14 at 7:20. Only students eating breakfast may enter the building at this time, due to the need for supervision of the children. For the safety of ALL CHILDREN, your cooperation is of utmost importance. Thank you. Flynn and O’Hara are the official vendors of our school uniforms. All students must have an official vest or sweater. Girls’ uniforms must be below the knee. This regulation will be enforced. Please do not buy a uniform that is too short. No fad hair styles will be accepted, including boys and girls. Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated.
