SOCIAL CONCERNS The Poor Box for the month of March is for Shepherd’‛s Table, a nonprofit organization in downtown Silver Spring, which is supported by volunteers, religious organizations, government, businesses, foundations and individual donors. Their mission is to provide help to people who are homeless or in need by providing basic services, including meals, social services, medical support, clothing and other assistance in an effective and compassionate manner. Thank you to all who so kindly gave to last week’‛s Share in Hope Food Drive. We collected over 1,600 pounds of food items, which all went to the Capital Area Food Bank. SAVE the DATES!
