Game Instructions for Vocabulary Definitions Game, Pasapalabra Pasapalabra is a fun, interactive vocabulary game during which students watch a brief segment of the game as it is played in Spain. After viewing the video, the students play this game in teams. There are 5 games included with this product. Each of the games has vocabulary definitions from A to Z. There are both Power Points and word documents that the teacher can use to play this game with students. The teacher sets the timer for one minute. During this minute, the first member of team #1 reads the definition for the word that begins with A. The first student on Team #2 guesses this word that begins with the letter A. If the team #2 student guesses correctly, they get 1 point and the game continues with the next student on team #1 reading the definition for the letter B word while student #2 from Team #2 guesses. If at any time during the minute a student cannot guess the word correctly, he/she says, “Pasapalabra”, the next clue is read and the next student attempts to guess the word that begins with C. When the minute is up, the teacher counts the number of correct answers that team #1 earned and Team #2 gets the opportunity to continue playing through the alphabet. The teacher can play this game for a set amount of time or the teacher can play an entire game from A to Z.
