concerns (e.g. differences in customs, current events, etc).

Students will be able to explain and discuss specialized topics on society,
culture, and the arts while paraphrasing specialized terminology in their own
words. They can state their position about various issues and will be able to
debate and support their views with evidence. They will also be able to talk
about their favorite artwork and be able to adequately describe its merits to
persuade others. Students will learn how to speak appropriate to the type of
oral expression (poster presentation, oral presentation, discussion) and be
able to effectively use tools necessary for making presentations.

授業計画
社会・文化・学術的なやや専門性のある話題ついて，専門用語などを言い換え
ながら，論理的で明快な説明ができるようになる。様々な問題について，立場
を明確にして，根拠を示しながら議論ができる。好きな作品について，その良さ
を十分に表現し人を説得することができる。口頭表現のタイプ（ポスター発表，
口頭発表，ディスカッション）に合った話し方ができるようになる。発表のための
ツールを効果的に利用できるようになる。
1回オリエンテーション，学期の目標設定，2回から5回専門紹介，6回から9回
作品を語る，10回から14回社会問題，15回振り返りと自己評価。
履修条件
プレイスメントテストを受けていること。
話す720レベル相当を修了していること。
成績評価方法
