Benvenuti al 35° Raduno Internazionale NSU!
La nostra storia comune inizia nel lontano 1955 quando, su richiesta
della Fabbrica NSU, venne aperto qui a Cavallino il primo camping park
attrezzato in Italia, già a quel tempo dotato di un’offerta davvero unica.
Ampie piazzole ombreggiate, acqua calda nei servizi sanitari, un ristorante
e un’organizzazione pronta ad accogliere i campeggiatori e i loro mezzi
NSU. Da allora sono passati 60 anni, e Union Lido è rimasto fedele allo
spirito pionieristico degli esordi, proponendo oggi servizi a 5 stelle in una
cornice naturalistica straordinaria.

Willkommen zum 35. Internationalen NSU-Treffen!
Unsere gemeinsame Geschichte beginnt im fernen Jahr 1955, als auf
Anfrage der NSU-Fabrik hier in Cavallino der erste ausgestattete
Campingpark Italiens eröffnet wird, der bereits zur damaligen Zeit über ein
wirklich einzigartiges Angebot verfügte.
Große, schattige Stellplätze, Warmwasser in den Sanitäranlagen, ein
Restaurant und eine Organisation, die die Camper und ihre NSU-Fahrzeuge
aufzunehmen wusste, erwarteten die Gäste.
Seit damals sind 60 Jahre vergangen und Union Lido ist dem anfänglichen
Pioniergeist treu geblieben. So werden heute 5-Sterne-Serviceleistungen
vor einer außergewöhnlichen Landschaftskulisse geboten.

Welcome to the 35th International NSU Meeting!
Our story begins back in 1955 when, at the request of the NSU Factory, the
first equipped camping park opened in Cavallino, with truly unique facilities
for the time.
It had large shady pitches, hot water in the bathrooms, a restaurant and an
organisation ready to welcome campers and their NSU vehicles.
60 years have passed since then and Union Lido has remained faithful to
the pioneering spirit of those days, today offering 5-star services in an
extraordinary natural setting.

Notre histoire commune commence dans le lointain 1955 quand, à la
demande de l’Usine NSU, fut ouvert ici à Cavallino le premier camping park
équipé en Italie, déjà à l’époque doté d’une offre vraiment unique.
De grands emplacements ombragés, eau chaude dans les services
sanitaires, un restaurant et une organisation prête à accueillir les campeurs
et leurs engins NSU.
Depuis lors, 60 années se sont écoulées et Union Lido est resté fidèle à
l’esprit pionnier des exordes, proposant aujourd’hui des services 5 étoiles
dans un cadre naturaliste extraordinaire.

L’NSU CLUB ITALIA nasce nel 1993 da
un’idea di Livio Uderzo, medico con la
passione per il marchio di Neckarsulm
e affermato pilota NSU in campo
nazionale ed internazionale. Con
qualche amico crea un piccolo gruppo
di appassionati e inizia ad organizzare
qualche evento con il preciso scopo
di promuovere e ricordare il marchio
NSU. Il 9 marzo 1996 il club viene
ufficialmente costituito da sei soci
fondatori e nel 1999 il sodalizio ottiene
la federazione ASI (Automotoclub
Storico Italiano). NSU CLUB ITALIA è
anche licenziato CSAI (Commissione
Sportiva Automobilistica Italiana)
per favorire i soci che si dedicano
all’attività agonistica. Il Consiglio
Direttivo del club è composto da
cinque membri e attualmente conta
circa centocinquanta soci sparsi su
tutto il territorio italiano; la sua sede
legale è a Calolziocorte e la sua sede
operativa a Bresso in provincia di
Milano. Il club partecipa ogni anno a
cinque mostre scambio e organizza
ogni anno un Raduno Nazionale
NSU che viene deciso dall’assemblea
“Obelix”, al secolo Livio Uderzo, ha
conquistato a cavallo del millennio
cinque titoli nazionali e tre continentali
di velocità in salita e rallye per auto
storiche a bordo di vetture NSU
di tutti i tipi, dalla semplice Prinz
1000 alla TT, dalla ben nota TTS
alla rarissima Prinz Sport Coupé.
Il sacrificio personale di trasferte
vittoriose in Italia ed in Europa è
stato inoltre coronato da prestigiosi
riconoscimenti internazionali come
il “Silberpfeilpreis” dell’Audi a fianco
dei famosi piloti ufficiali Emanuele
Pirro, Dindo Capello e Michele
Alboreto, oltre al titolo di “Medico
pilota dell’anno 2000”. Attualmente
prosegue la carriera agonistica ad
invito sui principali campi di gara
a bordo di altri veicoli dei gloriosi
marchi germanici componenti i
“Quattro Anelli” e sta preparando
una vettura mista con velleità
esclusivamente storico-coreografica
(DKW con motore RO80) per uso
personale dilettantistico e corollario
ludico.

Der NSU CLUB ITALIA wird im
Jahr 1993 aus einer Idee von Livio
Uderzo heraus gegründet, eines
Arztes mit der Leidenschaft für
die aus Neckarsulm stammende
Fahrzeugmarke und zugleich national
und international berühmter NSUPilot. Mit einigen Freunden bildet
er eine kleine Fan-Gruppe und
beginnt, ein paar Veranstaltungen
zu organisieren, mit der Absicht die
Automarke NSU zu fördern und in
Erinnerung zu rufen. Am 9. März
1996 wird der Club offiziell von sechs
Gründungsmitgliedern gegründet und
1999 schließt er sich dem Verband
ASI (Historischer Automotorclub
Italiens) an. Der NSU CLUB ITALIA
gehört auch CSAI (Italienische
Sportkommission des Automobilclubs)
an, um die Mitglieder zu begünstigen,
die an Wettrennen teilnehmen. Der
Vorstand des Clubs besteht aus fünf
Mitgliedern und derzeit hat der Club
ca. 150 Mitglieder in ganz Italien. Sein
Rechtssitz ist in Calolziocorte und
sein Geschäftssitz in Bresso in der
Provinz Mailand. Der Club nimmt jedes
Jahr an fünf Tauschausstellungen
teil und organisiert jährlich ein
nationales NSU-Treffen, das von der
Hauptversammlung beschlossen
wird. Derzeit ist Gilberto Bruno
Santimaria Präsident des Clubs,
der die Präsidentschaft seit 2004
übernommen hat.
„Obelix”, mit bürgerlichem
Namen Livio Uderzo, hat um die
Jahrtausendwende fünf nationale
und drei europäische Preise bei
Bergrennen und Rallyes für Oldtimer
an Bord von NSU-Fahrzeugen jeder
Art errungen, vom einfachen Prinz
1000 über den TT, den gut bekannten
TTS bis hin zum seltenen Prinz Sport
Coupé. Sein persönliches Engagement
hinsichtlich der siegreichen Anreisen
in Italien und Europa wurde von
renommierten, internationalen
Auszeichnungen gekrönt, wie dem
„Silberpfeilpreis” von Audi an der
Seite der berühmten offiziellen Piloten
Emanuele Pirro, Dindo Capello und
Michele Alboreto, sowie mit dem Titel
„Arztpilot des Jahres 2000”. Derzeit
setzt er seine Karriere als Rennfahrer
fort und folgt den Einladungen
zu den wichtigsten Rennstrecken
an Bord weiterer Fahrzeuge der
ruhmreichen deutschen Automarken,
einschließlich der „Vier Ringe”.

Fahrzeug mit ausschließlich historischchoreographischen Ambitionen

The NSU CLUB ITALY was created in
1993 by Livio Uderzo, a doctor with
a passion for the Neckarsulm brand
and a well-known NSU driver both
in Italy and abroad. Together with a
few friends he formed a small group
of enthusiasts and began to organise
events to promote and remember the
NSU brand. On 9th March 1996 the
club was officially set up by 6 founder
members and in 1999 it became
part of the ASI (Automotoclub
Storico Italiano) Federation. The
NSU CLUB ITALY is also licenced
by the CSAI (Commissione Sportiva
Automobilistica Italiana) to help
members who engage in competitive
activity. The Executive Board of
Directors of the club has 5 members
and it currently has around 150
members all over Italy. Its centre
of operations is in Calolziocorte
and its operative headquarters is
in Bresso, in the province of Milan.
Each year the club takes part in 5
exchange exhibitions and organises a
yearly National NSU Meeting, which
is decided by a members’ general
meeting. The society’s president
since 2004 has been Gilberto Bruno
Santimaria.
“Obelix”, real name of Livio Uderzo,
has won five national titles and three
continental titles for speed ascent and
rally in a historic car at the turn of the
millennium, aboard NSU vehicles of
all kinds, from the simple Prinz 1000
to the TT, the famous TTS and the
extremely rare Prinz Sport Coupé.
His personal sacrifice of winning
journeys throughout Italy and Europe
has been crowned also by prestigious
international awards like the Audi
“Silberpfeilpreis” together with famous
official drivers Emanuele Pirro, Dindo
Capello and Michele Alboreto, as well
as the title of “Driving Doctor of the
Year 2000”. He currently continues
his competitive career by invitation
on leading tracks aboard other
vehicles of wonderful German brands
that make up the “Four Rings” and
is preparing a mixed vehicle with an

Avec quelques amis, il crée un petit
groupe de passionnés et commence
à organiser quelques événements
dans le but précis de promouvoir
et rappeler la marque NSU. Le 9
mars 1996, le club est officiellement
constitué de six membres fondateurs
et, en 1999, l’association obtient la

pilote de l’année 2000”. Il poursuit
actuellement les compétitions sur

et prépare une voiture mixte avec
velléité exclusivement historique et
chorégraphique (DKW avec moteur
RO80) pour usage personnel en
amateur et corollaire ludique.

MOSE
Il MOSE (MOdulo Sperimentale
Elettromeccanico) è un progetto o opera
di ingegneria civile, ambientale e idraulica
(o anche geoingegneria), tuttora in fase
di realizzazione, finalizzato alla difesa di
Venezia e della sua laguna dalle acque
alte, attraverso la costruzione di schiere
di paratoie mobili a scomparsa poste alle
cosiddette bocche di porto (i varchi che
collegano la laguna con il mare aperto
attraverso i quali si attua il flusso e riflusso
della marea) di Lido, di Malamocco
e di Chioggia, in grado di isolare
temporaneamente la laguna di Venezia
dal mare Adriatico durante gli eventi di
alta marea.
Il Mose, insieme ad altri interventi come
il rinforzo dei litorali, il rialzo di rive e
pavimentazioni e la riqualificazione della
laguna, garantirà, presumibilmente, la
difesa di Venezia e della laguna da tutte le
acque alte, compresi gli eventi estremi: è
stato progettato per proteggere Venezia
e la laguna da maree fino a 3 metri e
attualmente la sua entrata in funzione è
prevista per maree superiori a 110 cm[1].
Origine del nome
Inizialmente l’intero sistema di difesa dalle
acque alte era chiamato comunemente
“progettone” mentre l’acronimo Mose
(MOdulo Sperimentale Elettromeccanico)
si riferiva al solo prototipo di una paratia
in scala reale, utilizzato tra il 1988 e il 1992
per eseguire una serie di prove[5].
Poi la sigla Mo.s.e. è passata
comunemente a definire l’intero sistema
di difesa dalle acque alte. È evidente nel
nome il riferimento al personaggio biblico
Mosé che, nel racconto sacro, divise le
acque del Mar Rosso assicurando un
passaggio “all’asciutto” al popolo ebraico
in fuga dall’Egitto.

La Collezione Peggy Guggenheim è uno
dei più importanti musei in Italia per l’arte

sede a Venezia presso Palazzo Venier

fu l’abitazione di Peggy Guggenheim.
Il museo ospita la collezione personale

Das MOSE-Projekt ist ein derzeit in Bau
befindliches bewegliches FlutabwehrProjekt. Es wird an den drei Öffnungen
(ital. bocche) der Lagune von Venedig
installiert und soll das historische Zentrum
Venedigs vor Hochwasser (ital. Acqua
Alta) schützen. Ähnliche Sperrwerke
wurden bereits in London (Thames
Barrier) und Rotterdam (MaeslantSturmflutwehr) erfolgreich in Betrieb
genommen.
1984 wurden erste Machbarkeitsstudien
erstellt, die neben der Minimierung
der Hochwasserschäden auch die
hydrogeologische Gesamtsituation der
Lagune zu berücksichtigen hatten.
Zu diesem Zweck entstand im Auftrag
der venezianischen Wasserbehörde bei
Padua ein fußballfeldgroßes Becken,
in dem alle Inseln, alle Sandbänke, die
Gezeitenverhältnisse und Fahrrinnen
der Lagune detailgetreu nachgebaut
wurden. Unter Beteiligung namhafter
Wasserbauingenieure an der Universität
Padua wurden dort die Auswirkungen
von MOSE auf die Feinmechanik des
Wasserkreislaufs genauestens geprüft.
1996 wurde das Projekt dann durch
die Regierung verabschiedet. Am 14.
März 2003 nahm Silvio Berlusconi, den
symbolischen Spatenstich zur größten
Infrastrukturmaßnahme Italiens in der
Nachkriegszeit vor. Doch der politische
Alleingang und die wirtschaftliche
Beteiligung Berlusconis am Projekt
führten zu unzähligen Diskussionen und
einem nationalen Streitthema.
Einer der größten Gegner von MOSE.
war Venedigs letzter Bürgermeister, der
parteilose Philosophieprofessor Massimo
Cacciari. Selbst nach dem Beginn der
Bauarbeiten gab er seinen Widerstand
nicht auf und versagte den Bautrupps die
kostenmindernde Nutzung von Teilen des
Arsenals zur Fertigung wichtiger Bauteile
für das Sperrwerk. Er stand in ständiger
Konfrontation mit Giovanna Piva, Leiterin
des Magistrato alle Acque. Nach den
letzten Hochwassern wird das Projekt
zunehmend befürwortet.
Aufgrund von Baustopps und Kürzungen
hat sich die Fertigstellung um zwei Jahre
verschoben. Ab dem Jahre 2016 sollen
Venedig und seine Lagune vor den
ständigen Hochwassern sicher sein.

Some curiosities about Mose:
MOSE (Experimental Electromechanical
Module) is a project intended to protect
the city of Venice, Italy, and the Venetian
Lagoon from flooding. The project
is an integrated system consisting of
rows of mobile gates installed at the
Lido, Malamocco and Chioggia inlets
that are able to temporarily isolate the
Venetian Lagoon from the Adriatic Sea
during high tides. Together with other
measures such as coastal reinforcement,
the raising of quaysides, and the paving
and improvement of the lagoon, MOSE
is designed to protect Venice and the
lagoon from tides of up to 3 metres
(9.8 ft).
Origin of the name
Before the acronym was used to describe
the entire flood protection system, MOSE
referred to the 1:1 scale prototype of a
gate that had been tested between 1988
and 1992 at the Lido inlet.
The name also holds a dual meaning,
as MOSE is an allusion to the biblical
character Moses (“Mosè” in Italian), who
is remembered for the story where he
parted the Red Sea.

MOSE
Le Projet MOSE (acronyme de MOdulo
Sperimentale Elettromeccanico, « module
expérimental électromécanique ») est
un ouvrage en cours de réalisation qui
prévoit un système intégré de défense
formé de rangées de vannes mobiles
escamotables permettant d’isoler la
lagune de Venise de la mer Adriatique
durant les phénomènes de hautes
marées dépassant un niveau établi (110
cm) et jusqu’à un niveau maximum de
3 mètres. Cet ouvrage, qui s’associe à
d’autres interventions complémentaires
comme la consolidation du littoral, la
surélévation des rives et des pavages et
la requalification environnementale de
la lagune, devrait permettre de défendre
Venise contre les phénomènes extrêmes
comme les inondations (acqua alta) et
éviter sa dégradation morphologique, qui
provoque l’envahissement progressif de la
lagune par la mer et l’affaissement du sol.
Le projet a démarré en 2003 dans les
trois passes du Lido, de Malamocco et de
Chioggia, qui mettent en communication
la lagune et la mer et où se déroule le
mouvement des marées.
Origine du nom
Avant que l’acronyme ne soit utilisé
pour désigner l’ensemble du système
de défense contre les hautes marées, il
désignait le prototype à l’échelle 1:1 d’une
vanne, utilisé entre 1988 et 1992 dans la
passe du Lido.
