Nach dem grossen Erfolg in den vergangenen zwei Jahren , kommt es am 15. und 16. Mai 2015 im Grand-Théâtre
der Stadt Luxemburg zu einer Neuauflage der “Gala des Etoiles”. Neben der Prima Ballerina Assoluta Svetlana
Zakharova werden international gefeierte Stars des Weltballetts gemeinsam mit dem Publikum ein Happening
des Tanzes feiern.
Svetlana Zakharova, die aus der Ukraine stammende Primaballerina vom Moskauer Bolshoi Ballett und der
Mailänder Scala, deren Karriere am St.Petersburger Mariinsky-Theater begonnen hat, gastierte bereits bei allen
grossen Compagnien dieser Welt.
Nicht umsonst nennt man sie die “Königin der Virtuosität im klassischen Ballett”. Einmal auf der Bühne zündet sie
ein Feuerwerk an technischen Raffinessen, zeigt nahezu unglaubliche Balancen, wunderbar fliessende
Armbewegungen und dreht mit atemberaubender Geschwindigkeit.
Für den Cellisten André Mergenthaler wird es ein ausserordentliches Privileg und eine grosse Ehre sein, neben
dem Pianisten der Wiener Staatsoper, Svetlana Zakharova beim Tanz-Solo “Der sterbende Schwan” zu begleiten.
Igor Zapravdin, Pianist an der Wiener Staatsoper und Künstlerischer Leiter der Gala des Etoiles, stellte ein
Programm zusammen, das einen Bogen spannt von den Höhepunkten des klassischen Balletts bis hin zum
modernem Repertoire.
Zur Aufführung gelangen Ausschnitte choreographischer Raritäten, sowie neoklassische und moderne
Choreographien von George Balanchine, Mikhail Fokine, John Neumeier, Mauro Bigonzetti, Marius Petipa, usw.,
eingerahmt von Solodarbietungen Igor Zapravdins.
Damit dieses wunderbare Erlebnis zu einem unvergesslichen Genuss für das Publikum wird, greift Maestro
Zapravdin nur auf die ersten Solistinnen und Solisten namhafter internationaler Compagnien wie Bolschoi Ballett
Moskau, Teatro alla Scala Milano, Staatsballett Berlin, Stuttgart Ballett, Arena di Verona, Bayerisches Staatsballett
und Ungarisches Staatsballet, zurück.

Après le grand succès qu’ont connu les deux premières éditions en 2013 et 2014, DanceXperience asbl a
l’honneur et la fierté de vous annoncer que le Gala des Etoiles fait son retour les 15 et 16 mai 2015 au Grand
Théâtre de la Ville de Luxembourg.
Ce spectacle, unique en son genre au Luxembourg, va vous séduire tant par la richesse des oeuvres proposées,
que par la qualité exceptionnelle des artistes invités. C’est le rendez-vous à ne pas manquer pour la danse
classique au plus haut niveau.
Non seulement que le Gala réunira les danseuses et danseurs Etoiles des plus prestigieuses compagnies
européennes: Théâtre du Bolchoï Moscou, Teatro alla Scala Milano, Arena di Verona, Staatsballett Berlin,
Bayerisches Staatsballett München, Stuttgarter Ballett, Ballet National de Hongrie, mieux encore, le Gala des
Etoiles accueillera l’un des plus grands noms de la danse classique, Svetlana Zakharova, danseuse Etoile au
Théâtre du Bolchoï à Moscou.
Svetlana Zakharova est saluée pour sa virtuosité, partout où elle se produit, elle est unanimement reconnue
comme étant l’incarnation du style pur de l’école russe de ballet.
Le programme sera composé de rarités chorégraphiques, ainsi que de chorégraphies classiques et néo-classiques
de George Balanchine, Mikhail Fokine, John Neumeier, Mauro Bigonzetti, Marius Petipa .... et bien d’autres.
L’accompagnement musical est assuré par Igor Zapravdin, Pianiste attitré de l’Opéra d’Etat de Vienne.

On 15 and 16 May 2015 at 20:00, DanceXperience asbl is organising a Ballet Gala with international star
guests at the Grand-Théâtre.
After the great success over the past two years, the Grand-Théâtre in Luxembourg city will host a new
edition of the “Gala des Etoiles”. In addition to the Prima Ballerina Assoluta, Svetlana Zakharova,
internationally acclaimed stars of the Ballet world will celebrate by Dancing for the audience.
Svetlana Zakharova, originally from the Ukraine and prima ballerina of Moscow’s Bolshoi Ballet and the
Teatro alla Scala, whose carrer begann at the St. Petersburg Mariinsky Theatre, has already appeared in
all the major companies of the world.
She is not called the “Queen of virtuosity in classical Ballet” for nothing. Once ons tage, she ignites a
firework of technical refinements, shows almost incredible balances with wonderfully flowing arm
movements and turns at a breathaking pace.
For the cellist André Mergenthaler, it will be an extraordinary privilege and a great honour, beside the
Pianist of the Vienna State Opera, to accompany Svetlana Zakharova for the dance solo “The Dying Swan”.
Igor Zapravdin, Pianist at the Vienna State Opera and Artistic Director of the Gala des Etoiles, has put
together a programme that spans an arc of the highlights of classical Ballet through to the modern
repertoire: exerpts of choreographic performance rarities, as well as neoclassical and contemporary
choreography by George Balanchine, Mikhail Fokine, John Neumeier, Mauro Bigonzetti, Marius Petipa,
etc, framed by solo performances by Igor Zapravdin.
