ALEX G. YU, PH.D., CFA, FRM Vice President, Portfolio Manager Franklin Templeton Fixed Income Group Franklin Advisers, Inc. San Mateo, California, United States Alex Yu is a vice president, portfolio manager for Franklin Advisers in its Floating Rate Debt Group, and is a member of the group's Investment Committee. Prior to joining the firm in 2005, Mr. Yu worked as a financial analyst at Wall Street Analytics and JPMorgan Chase Bank, where he specialized in CDO modeling and derivative pricing. Before that, Mr. Yu worked as a finance and accounting lecturer at Fudan University and a CFO assistant at NHP in China. Mr. Yu earned a Ph.D. in industrial economics from Fudan University and an M.B.A. from Rice University. He also holds an M.S. in accounting from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and an M.S. and a B.S. in computer science from Fudan University. Mr. Yu is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder and a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM), as well as a member of the security Analysts of San Francisco (SASF), the CFA Institute, and the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
