It gives me immense pleasure to invite you for the nephropathology
workshop being organized jointly by the department of Nephrology

and Pathology on 25 & 26 January, 2015.
Dr Patrick Walker , MD Nephropath Associates, Arkansas, USA
will be the lead faculty. He will be ably supported by expert
pathologists and nephrologists.
Meeting has been designed to offer comprehensive and case based
coverage of the topics. There will also be ample opportunity to
interact with the faculty.
Limited travel grants are available to post graduates. Registered
post graduate students, will be provided with free accommodation
on twin sharing basis and on successful completion of the course, to
and fro 2nd AC train travel cost will be reimbursed.

Scientific Program
Workshop Highlights:
This will be an intensive one and halfday workshop that will provide an
insight into various aspects of nephropathology ranging from basic
techniques, interpretation to current scenario.
Objectives :
lTo provide insight into basic techniques in preparation of renal biopsy
material for LM, IF & EM and their interpretation.
lCase based learning of various patterns of glomerular diseases and
their correlation with clinical presentation.
lTo emphasize on emerging concepts and current scenario in
nephropathology
lInteractive sessions in small groups which will enable the students to
have one to one interaction with the faculty.
Faculty:
The workshop faculty will include distinguished national & international
nephrologists and nephropathologist.

Post graduate students in Nephrology and pathology, practicing
nephrologists and pathologists interested in nephropathology.
