Tender Title: Lusail Development – Design & Built of South Marina East and West Restaurants at Lusail Building
Package 11 (BP11).
Brief Description of Work:
The scope of works shall include Design and Construction of East and West Restaurants Including, but not limited to,
temporary works, foundations, structural elements, water-proofing, curtain walling, MEP installation, high quality
internal finishes and external works.
Eligibility of Tenderers:
Tenderer or the Lead Joint Venture partner shall have a valid commercial registration in Qatar. All other JV partners
must obtain the requisite commercial registrations within 60 days from the Date of Award.
Average annual turnover for the last five years of the Tenderer’s organization shall be a minimum QR 180 Million (or
aggregate average turnover for Joint Ventures).
Tenderer (or any partner of the JV) shall have completed a minimum of one design and build project during the last 5 years.
The tenderer (or any partner of the JV) shall substantiate this requirement by submitting project completion
certificates duly attested by owners.
Tenderer must also have a demonstrated experience of:
• high quality buildings and ﬁnishes, projects
• dispute avoidance for the past 5 years
The Tenderer’s design consultant must have demonstrated experience in:
• working on design and build projects
• working on projects of similar value (or larger) and similar type
• structural steel design
• obtaining authority approvals in Qatar
The Tenderer’s design consultant must be named in the tender proposal and be registered as a Grade A Consultant
by Qatar’s Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning (MMUP) Committee of Engineers acceptance and
engineering consultancy offices and will be subject to LREDC approval.
Tender Bond Value:
QR 1,000,000 (Qatari Riyals One Million Only) (should be valid for 150 days from the Tender Closing Date.

29th December 2014, not later than 12.00 noon local Doha time.

Tender Collection Date & Time:
Starting from 17th November 2014 between 09.30 a.m. to 01.30 p.m. (except Friday & Saturday).
Tender Fee:
A non-refundable cheque (cash will not be accepted) in the amount of QAR 5000 shall be provided in the Name of
Lusail Real Estate Development Company. The cheque shall be submitted to the Finance Department of Qatari Diar
(located in Lusail Site Offices).
Required documents in order to collect the Tender Documents are as follows:
• Copy of the Company Commercial Registration
• Company Authorization letter and ID of the person who will collect the Tender Document
• Provide acknowledgement receipt for the tender fee submitted at the Finance Department, Qatari Diar
(located in Lusail Site Office)
• Provide the duly ﬁlled conﬁdentiality undertaking letter. The specimen form of which shall be collected from the
