Week 3 Epiphany 2 Sunday 18 January Birmingham Churches Winter Night Shelter Please pray for the Birmingham Churches Winter Night shelter which began on 12th January and runs for eight weeks. The shelter is an ecumenical project which sees churches offering shelter, friendship, dignity and hope to those who find themselves sleeping rough on the streets of Birmingham this winter. It is a collaboration that includes local churches, outreach teams, Thrive Together Birmingham, Housing Justice and Sifa Fireside. Please pray for all those involved in the shelter; for the churches offering their buildings; for all those volunteering their time; for the outreach teams, and for the work of the homeless charity Sifa Fireside as they provide referrals and ongoing support to the guests. Please pray most particularly for these guests, that they may they find rest and peace, friendship and compassion, and hope for a future where they are valued and loved, and where each of them have a home.
