CLASSES: Class 1: Beginners (60cm) Class 2: Novice (75cm) Class 3: Intermediate (90cm) NB: If there are sufficient entries, classes may be split into Juniors and Seniors. Juniors are classed as being under 18 years as at 1st January 2015. www.delamereforestridingclub.co.uk CLASS ELIGIBILITY: Beginners: Aimed specifically at beginner horses or riders. Combination not to have won any jumping competition. Novice: Combination of horse and rider not to have won any Show Jumping competition, Hunter Trial or ODE, with the exception of beginners, and not to have completed a Riding Club or Pony Club intermediate or open horse trials or any BE event. Entry Fees: DFRC Members Non Members £10.00 £14.00 INFORMATION - The event will be run under British Riding Club rules. Faults will be allocated as per XC scoring. Any fences knocked down will also be penalised. An optimum time will be set and in the event of a tie the results will be calculated on the basis of those closest to the optimum time. Dress code = XC colours CONDITIONS OF ENTRY Neither Delamere Forest Riding Club, its committee nor any persons acting on its behalf, accept any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to any person, animal or property whatsoever from whatever cause. Everyone mounted must wear a correctly adjusted and fastened riding hat conforming to the minimum requirement of: British PAS 015:1998 or 2011 )_ must have BS EN1384: 1997 or 2012 )_ BSI European EN1384:1996 American All SEI, ASTM F1163:2004a, 04a or SNELL E2001 Australian & New Zealand All SAI AS/NZS 3838 2006 ) Kitemark The wearing of a body protector and medical armband is compulsory. Stallions are not allowed at any DFRC event. No dogs are permitted at Forest Gate Farm and no hay nets to be tied up outside boxes/trailers. British Riding Club rules apply in all other situations except that no vaccination certificates will be required. DFRC health & safety policy should be adhered to. Acceptance of DFRC rules is a condition of entry. DIRECTIONS TO FOREST GATE FARM Leave the M6 at junction 19, taking the A556 towards Chester. Turn right onto the B5152 at Abbey Arms Pub. Continue along this road, passing through Delamere Forest. Once you have passed The Carriers Inn and Hatchmere Lake on your left take the next turning on your right into Forest Lane. Forest Gate Farm is the first property on the left. Please note some parking may be on the field opposite the drive, stewards will direct you accordingly. Parking is limited so please park considerately. Please ensure you clear up any droppings left by your horse.
