Principal’s News:
The students did a GREAT job at their Christmas Program this past
Monday night. Thank-you to everyone who came to support the
students, and to enjoy the wonderful evening. Thanks also to the
teachers and parents who assisted the students as they learned their
songs. Special thanks to Mrs. Susan Welgat, Mrs. Michele
Wentworth, Mrs. Kari Clark, Mrs. Abbie Hamilton, and Mr.
Nate Nichols for all their extra efforts to make the evening so
enjoyable for everyone. Lucy Ahasic and Kylie Welgat deserve
special praise for their solo parts.
I also want to acknowledge the students who shared their instrumental
talents prior to the concert: Trivian Massens (piano), Ava
DeWolfe (piano), Eleanor Burkhart (piano), Avery Yepsen
(piano), David Mock (viola), Camden Murphy (piano), Mya
Mirocha (piano), Rachel Brown (piano), Regan Coombes
(piano), Natalie Yepsen (piano). Our school has many musically
talented students who are brave enough to get in front of people to
perform. If you weren’t able to attend this program, mark your
calendar now for the spring program on May 4th.
The annual Visitation Cookie Walk was another success! We actually
had to turn people away, as we were completely sold out within an hour
of the doors opening. Thanks to Susan Welgat and Liz Blachinsky
for organizing the event again this year and to everyone who baked
cookies. Hopefully we can get more cookies next year and do an even
bigger business. The cookie sales raised
$560 for the Roof Fund.
Please turn in all
calendar money, unless you are planning to sell calendars over
Christmas break. We will be pulling names for 2015 calendar
winners when school resumes. Remember: Each family is
REQUIRED to sell at least 5 calendars.

Uniform Sweatshirt Order
The first sweatshirt order has arrived and been sent home with the
students. If there was a problem with your order, please let us know
by noon tomorrow (Dec. 19th). The students seem to love them
because most put them on as soon as they received them. They look
very nice with the collared polo shirts.
A second order will be sent on Friday, January 23rd. Please stop
by the office to place an order. Order forms will also be sent in the
January 15th memo packet. Cost of each sweatshirt is $15. Sizes 2XL
and larger are $17.
Free Throw Winners
Brady Clark’s name was inadvertently omitted from the list of Vis
students placing at the Wethersfield Free Throw Contest. Brady
earned second in the Boys’ 8-9 yr. category.
. Way to go!!

Thank you to students, families, and parishioners who donated
toys for the Kindergarten’s “Toys for Needy Children” collection
sponsored by the Marine Corps. Your generous giving of toys to
families in need was greatly appreciated, as it will make a special
Christmas for many families. Thank you and God bless from the
Visitation Kindergarten and Miss Fite.
