Welcome
Sermon Notes
God bless you and welcome to Bethel Church Irvine. We're blessed that you've
decided to come and join us on the Lord's Day. As we worship the Lord
together, we pray you will experience the love of God through His Son Jesus
Christ in whom we have salvation from sin. We have two services: 11:00 AM
and 1:00 PM. Though you are welcome to worship at either service, our 11:00
AM service is geared towards those who are currently post-college while our
1:00 PM service focuses on college students.
Lunch is provided for both services at 12:15 PM. If you're with us for the first
time today, please allow us to welcome you at our Newcomer's Table which is
located inside the worship hall. God bless and we hope you feel welcomed
here!

Question 34
Since we are redeemed by grace alone, through Christ alone, must we still
do good works and obey God’s Word?
Yes, because Christ, having redeemed us by his blood, also renews us by his
Spirit; so that our lives may show love and gratitude to God; so that we may
be assured of our faith by the fruits; and so that by our godly behavior others
may be won to Christ.
1 Peter 2:9–12
