Big W Shopping
Tomorrow the whole school is involved
in our Big W Shopping Trip. This event
is where we ask each family to bring
$15 to school on the day. We travel by
bus to Big W where the children buy a
present to give to children less
fortunate. This year we are again
donating our presents to the Star FM “I
believe in Christmas” toy drive.
This is a great experience for children
to learn about the gift of giving to other
children. We welcome any of our
parents to meet us at Big W at 9.30am
to help the children purchase their gifts.

Last Day of Term 4 1.20pm Finish
The last day of the school term is
on Friday December 19th. On this
day we will be finishing school at
1.20pm. Those children who are
travelling on the Shepparton bus
they will be collected at 1.30pm.
Parents please note the earlier
finish time.
Orientation Day
On Tuesday 9th December it is the
state wide Orientation Day. On this
day the students who are going to
their next phase of education spend
the day there. I’m sure many of our
children will have a few nerves
about their new environment.
Remember feeling a little bit anxious
is perfectly normal and everyone
else will have a few nerves too. The
children at Kialla West also spend
some time in their class for next
year. I can assure our families that a
great deal of time and effort goes
into planning and preparing these
classes, to ensure the best learning
environment for all children. Our
orientation program is taking place
from 9.30am to 11am on this day.

Traditionally we have presented
new Preps with a show bag on
their orientation day to welcome
them to our school.
However, the bags are not possible without the
support of the school community, so if you are
able to donate a few small items to go in the bags
