greeters. If you are interested in
being a greeter contact one of them.
This is a great way to meet other
members, and help the club on
Saturday nights.
BOARD MEETING
The board will meet at 7 P.M. on
Monday, Jan. 12th at the VFW.

MUSIC REQUEST FORM
It is easy to let the DJ know what
songs you want to dance to. Just fill
out a song request form located at
the Greeters Desk. All of our DJ’s
will be glad to play them for you.
We hope to see everyone on the
dance floor on Saturday.
DANCE WITH ME LABELS
Singles and those who love to dance
with everyone - did you know that
“Dance With Me” labels are
available at the Greeter Table?
Put one on and everyone will know
that you are looking for someone to
dance with, and with our club you
will have no lack of partners.

all the hopes and promises that a
new year holds for the future!
The Board is planning many fun
events for our club. Thanks to
everyone for making our
Christmas party a huge success!
The Fantastic Shakers did
another great job playing all of
our favorite shag songs. Thank
you all for your generosity in
donating so many toys. All of the
toys donated by our club
members were distributed to the
children at the Kensington school
in Georgetown. Also the club
donated $500 to purchase clothing
for the Pleasantville School.
Thank you Cherri Perkins for
coordinating these donations.
Cheryl Martin was the lucky
winner of the 50/50 drawing.
This year the New Years Eve
Party was held at the same
location as last year, Inlet Affairs.
We had a full house as all of our
club members enjoyed the great
food and service from the staff at
Inlet Affairs. Everyone had a
great time dancing to the music of
Roger Holcomb and celebrating
the New Year with their Shag
Club friends. The winners of our
drawings at the party were Karen
Dennehy and Gail Dixon both
won a bottle of Champagne and
Theresa Jasper who won the 50/50
money. To all of the volunteers of
our Christmas and New Year’s
Party, thank you very much for
giving your time and energy! It is
such a pleasure to be a member of
the BEST shag club!

successful and we would like to
thank both Deborah and Rich for
volunteering. Only through active
participation from all members
can we insure our club continues
to grow and succeed.
NAMETAGS & CLUB
SHIRTS
The first Saturday of each month
is Club Shirt Night. Wear your
club shirt and you will receive an
extra ticket for the bar tab. Also
wear your nametag to every club
function. This helps our members
get to know each other and also
gives you an extra ticket for the
$25 Bar Certificate. If you have
lost your nametag, we’ll be
happy to order you another
one for $3.

for the 2015 year. Membership
fee of $25 per person will remain
the same as last year. Don’t miss

LINE DANCE WORKSHOP
On January 31, Jeanette Stanley will be
teaching a Line dance workshop from 7:00
P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Jeanette will be teaching
some of the newest and hottest line dances
along with a refresher on some of the current
popular dances.
HAPPY NEW YEAR
Fun, Fun, Fun is the only way to describe our
shag-in New Years Eve party at Inlet Affairs.
The joint was jump-in to the sounds of DJ
Roger Holcomb.
