Amended Interviews Result for the Post of Lecturer in

RAJASTHAN PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION, AJMER
AMMENDED MERIT LIST
One post of Lecturer – Jyotish (Ganit) (For Shastri Classes) for
Sanskrit Education Department was advertised by the Commission in their
advertisement No. 2/2004-2005 and Corrigendum No. 04/2004-05. Interviews
for the post were held on 30-08-05 and the result was declared on the same day.
Shri Alok Sharma (Roll No. 100001) was declared selected in the main merit
list and his name was recommended to the department. While name of Shri Anil
Pratihast (Roll No. 100002) was kept in Reserve list. Later on, Hon. Rajasthan
High Court vide their order dated 13-07-2012 in SBCWP No. 5700/2005
(Hans Raj Sharma Vs. State of Rajasthan & Ors) set aside the appointment
order of candidate Shri Alok Sharma and directed to fill-up the post from and
amongst next eligible and meritorious candidate. SBCivil Review Petition No.
154/2012 was also filed by Shri Alok Sharma Which was decided by the Court
on 03-07-2013. Special Leave to Appeal (C) No(s). 30785-30786/2014 filed by
Shri Alok Sharma were also dismissed by Hon’ble Supreme Court vide their
order dated 21-11-2014. Hence in Compliance of the Hon. High Court’s
Common order dated 12-09-14 passed in D.B.C.Special Appeal (Writ) No.
650/2013, 712/2013 and 1151/2013 filed against the orders dated 13-07-2012
and 03-07-2013 and order dated 24-11-2014 in SBCivil Contempt petition No.
1132/2012 the Commission have decided to amend the result for the said post.
Selection of Candidate Shri Alok Sharma (Roll No. 100001) is
hereby cancelled by the Commission as he is not eligible in accordance with
UGC Regulations of
2000 as per Hon’ble Court’s orders. Hence,
recommendation dated 15-09-2005 sent by the Commission for appointment of
Shri Alok Sharma is being withdrawn as per Hon. High Court orders and Shri
Hansraj Sharma (Roll No. 100007) is hereby declared selected in the main merit
list and his name is being recommended to the department.

(2) This result is subject to the decision of SLP which is being filed by
the Commission before Hon’ble Supreme Court.
