H.E. Mrs. Vasundhara Raje, the Hon’ble
Chief Minister of the Indian State of Rajasthan, is
leading a delegation to Japan from April 05 – 12,
2015. This is Ms. Raje’s second term as Chief Minister of Rajasthan, which is a State with a population of 70 million. She is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which is the principal member of the ruling coalition, the National Democratic
Alliance (NDA) in India, headed by Hon’ble Prime
Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi. She is an articulate speaker and is committed to reforms to
empower Indian women across the social and economic spectrum. She was recognised for her efforts to assist women in self-empowerment, by the
UN in 2007.
