MEMORIAL LIBRARY
We will be featuring “The Color of the Month” this year, with
January starting out as “Blue Book Month”.
Come and see what blue book might be the one for you!
We are starting a middle-school-teen reader section. It is just
one shelf to the right of the children’s collection where videos
used to be (we just moved them to the other side!). Come and
see our small collection of books by Madeleine L’Engle, Tim
Shoemaker and Travis Thrasher. Let us know if we should keep
buying more!
And, for our fiction readers, we will spotlight a series each
month – this month it is Julie Klassen and her English Regency
mystery/romance titles. Tell us is you have a favorite series to
spotlight.
Wednesday, February 4: Have a student heading off to college
next fall? Filled out a FAFSA form for student financial aid, but
still have questions? Wondering what in the world a FAFSA actually is!? Gloria Dei will be hosting a representative from College
of DuPage who will be offering her services to us on Wednesday, February 4, from 6:00 - 8:00PM. Come and receive some
individualized attention in the Computer Lab (downstairs) that
evening. Students and parents should attend this together. Feel
free to stop by at any time during those two hours, mindful of
the time it takes to work through the form. Contact Aaron to
sign-up now.
